Odyssey Book VII
How does Odysseus's introduction to the Queen and King differ from the way he introduces himself to Nausicaa? Why does he choose each way of introduction for each person? How does Athena assist Odysseus on his way to the palace and why does she feel it is necessary to help him reach the palace? How does the Athena, while she is disguised, give a small hint that she is a goddess?
Welcome
Welcome to the English blog. We are going to use this with our work in English -
To begin, rather than writing a prompt on the message board, use the blog to generate discussion - much as we did with history.
I would like each of you to create a separate page. On that page you will assume the identity of one of the characters in The Odyssey. Using quotes etc. from The Odyssey (pick up from this point Book VI), tell us about your character. Also, reveal to us how the character would respond as new information is made available. Your character should blog once a week about the unfolding drama.
